After a hiatus of a few years, I’ve finally returned to blogging. Like many others in the communications field, I enjoy communicating, or–as my mother would say–I love the sound of my own voice. A lot has happened since I last blogged, and, doubtlessly, a lot will happen from this point onward. However, my principal motivation for blogging isn’t to discuss activities or things, but to discuss ideas.
I spend a lot of time “journeying”, whether it’s driving on the road, hiking, or running, and to pass the time (or to keep my mind off the inevitable soreness that develops in my legs) my mind drifts and ponders various things.
I’ll blog about my various interests, like politics, current events, polling, communications, research philosophy, technology, hiking, climbing, camping, cycling, running, fishing, music, movies, food, drink and clothes. Obviously, what I can write about work will be limited, but there’s plenty of other political topics to discuss besides Alberta!
Finally, I’d be remiss if I didn’t give the obligatory disclaimer: these are my opinions (I prefer “musings”, since I avoid taking definitive stances) and not those of my employer or any other organization I may be, have been or will be affiliated with.
